Job Description:

We seek a detail-oriented and experienced UAT Software Tester to join our QA team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our software applications meet the specified requirements and provide a seamless user experience. This role involves working closely with developers, business analysts, and end-users to validate and verify software functionality before it goes live.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on User Acceptance Testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Proficient in writing and executing test cases and scripts.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools (ie: JIRA).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly and effectively.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the concrete industry preferred.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Position Details
  • Develop and execute UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on user requirements and business processes.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand the application functionality and user expectations.
  • Identify, document, and report defects, inconsistencies, and issues found during testing.
  • Participate in requirement review sessions and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects.
  • Work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Ensure test environments are set up accurately and are reflective of production settings.
  • Provide clear and concise testing status reports to project stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of automated UAT scripts and tools.
