This role will involve validating system functionality, ensuring adherence to business rules, and identifying any issues or gaps prior to the system's go-live date. Candidates will work closely with the UAT Test Manager, PMO leadership, and MDCPS staff to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Defect Identification and Reporting

  • Document test results, including defects, issues, and screenshots, using Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with MDCPS SMEs and project stakeholders for defect validation, verification, and resolution.
  • Follow MDCPS's defect management processes for communication and escalation.

Environment and Data Validation

  • Perform smoke testing to ensure UAT environments are configured correctly for testing activities.
  • Conduct data validation using both backend (SQL scripts) and front-end testing methodologies.
  • Test functionality across three environments: Primary UAT, Data Validation, and Time Travel.

Compliance Testing

  • Conduct ADA compliance testing based on WCAG 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2 standards.
  • Ensure the system adheres to federal CCWIS requirements and state-specific standards.

User Experience (UX) Testing

  • Collaborate with MDCPS UX testers to provide support during UX testing cycles.
  • Assist in incorporating end-user feedback into iterative system improvements.

Coordination and Reporting

  • Work with the UAT Test Manager to define testing timelines, priorities, and daily goals.
  • Provide regular updates on test progress, issues, and milestones to the PMO leadership.
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation for audit and review purposes.

Required Qualifications
