Air Products is looking for an experienced Ultra-High Purity Customer Engineering Product Engineer based in Allentown, PA, to manage critical bulk gas delivery equipment and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the US, Canada, and globally. Check out some of our benefits below!- Affordable Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (day 1 of employment)- 401k with 100% vested company core and match- Paid vacation, holidays + sick time- Paid parental leave (Up to 8 weeks for both parents)- Backup Child and Adult Care benefit- Adoption assistance- Flexible spending accounts (medical, dependent daycare)- Life Insurance (AD&D- Paid for by Air Products), Supplemental AD&D- Legal Plan & Identity theft coverage- EAP (Employee Assistance Program)- Many more supplemental benefits availableRequired Skills / Abilities:- 8+ years of experience in engineering, with a strong focus on Ultra-High Purity (UHP) requirements- In-depth understanding of UHP customer applications and supplier base- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams- High ethical standards, with a strong focus on worker safety and regulatory compliance- Experience with P&ID Development and Safety Relief Valve calculations or a willingness to learn- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, Share-sites**Preferred but not required:**- Knowledge of PHAs, UltraFlo, CAPP, STAC, and Air Products PDMsKey Job Responsibilities:- Own the equipment set for UHP bulk gas delivery, including Bulk Gas Manifolds, Hydrogen Vapor Phase Withdrawal tanks, and cryogenic storage tanks- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Third-Party Purifiers (Entegris and AES)- Assist the CE Asset Team with UHP Liquid Storage Tank rebuilds and procurement by maintaining specifications and bill of materials- Develop new products in response to business and customer needs- Manage and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) for products developed by the team- Prepare engineering documentation packages for fabricators and support the Commercial Team with quotations- Update and maintain Engineering Standards as a standard ownerMinimum Hiring Requirements:- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering- 8+ years of relevant experience, with a strong understanding of UHP engineering and customer applications- Experience with P&ID Development and working knowledge of safety calculations preferredWork Hours:This role is based in Allentown, PA, and offers a hybrid work schedule with 5% travel.
