Context:
Our client, an international investment bank, is looking for a UI Developer to create a communication and collaboration interface between Sales and Traders, working on web and desktop applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop seamless, user-friendly interfaces for both web and desktop platforms to improve collaboration between traders and sales teams.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Develop responsive and interactive UI elements using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and desktop frameworks (Tauri, .NET, Kotlin Multiplatform).
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimize the application for performance and scalability.
- Contribute to UX/UI design, focusing on providing the best user experience.
- Write clean, maintainable code, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure application functionality and user satisfaction.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the platform.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in UI development with a strong portfolio of cross-platform projects.
- Expertise in web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (SvelteKit, React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Experience with desktop development frameworks like Tauri, .NET (Blazor/MAUI), or Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Experience in the financial sector, particularly in trading is a plus
