Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential excellent opportunity for a civilian Ultrasound Technologist at the Naval Bremerton Hospital in Bremerton, WA.

Requirements:

• Certificate/Graduate from an academic program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
• Current primary certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• One year of experience as a sonographer.
• BLS Certification

Job Duties:

• Perform ultrasound examinations for healthcare providers to enable accurate diagnosis and to guide treatment of a wide variety of diseases, medical conditions, and injuries.
• Perform routine and emergent diagnostic sonography including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, small parts, venous, neural, and miscellaneous studies.
• Correlate the patient's clinical history with the requested examination to be performed and consult the electronic medical record to obtain the results from previous pertinent diagnostic tests to correlate with the ultrasound examination.
• Schedule lengths of patient appointment times according to the complexity of the examination.
• Maintain daily patient registry of examinations.
