Work Shifts 7:00 A.M - 8:30 P.M Job Description Under supervision, performs a variety of ultrasound procedures to assist in the medical diagnosis and assessment of patients. Acts in compliance with NYC Health + Hospitals, health care setting, and other appropriate regulatory requirements and patient safety standards. Duties & Responsibilities Under general supervision, performs ultrasound examinations at an advanced level, including special procedures to assist medical staff in the diagnosis and assessment of patients. In addition to performing duties of Assignment Level I, also performs the following: 1. Maintains regular contact with physicians and other health care personnel by providing information regarding the nature, scheduling, or results of procedures performed within the Ultrasound Department. 2. Assists in the conduct of specialized tests and studies. 3. Assists in training programs in ultrasonography and instructs other appropriate technical personnel on technical aspects of their routine use. Minimum Qualifications 1.
