Weekly Pay Range - $2061 To $2290 Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist, Registered Job Specialty: Ultrasound Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Guaranteed Hours: 37.50 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an Ultrasound Technologist License: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Must-Have: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office- Ability to problem solve and make decisions- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion- Micro-ultrasound experience is a plus Job Description: - Perform or assist in ultrasound examinations and provide technical assistance to the Radiologist.- Prepare and examine all patients for ultrasound examinations according to established departmental procedures and techniques.- Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment, ensuring safety precautions are taken to protect patients and personnel.- Set up, operate, clean, and make minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment.- Ensure adequate supplies are available for use.- Capture images onto PACS and transfer them to physicians' workstations.- Assist in the orientation and mentoring of new Ultrasound personnel.- Answer telephones, schedule examinations, and potentially initiate transportation.- Perform other duties as required.
