- Adirondack Health is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Vascular Imaging. The role requires someone proficient in performing ultrasound exams for a range of patients, from newborns to geriatric. The facility features advanced imaging equipment, and the radiology team is accredited and certified by nationally recognized organizations. The technologist will work with the Logiq E9 ultrasound machine and use MediTech for electronic medical records (EMR).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vascular ultrasound exams for patients across various age groups, ranging from newborn to geriatric.
- Ensure high-quality imaging results, collaborating with board-certified radiologists for exam interpretation.
- Handle a patient load of 5-12 per day depending on the shift.
- Follow the hospital's safety and care standards, delivering personalized and compassionate care.
Requirements:Experience:
- 2+ years of current experience as an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Vascular Imaging (required).
- Previous travel experience (preferred).
- Experience with MediTech EMR (preferred).
Certifications:
- Necessary licenses/certifications relevant to the role.
