L4 Security and Consulting Group LLC is announcing the availability of positions for a qualified Security Agent for the Bristol, TN, area. L4 is a private security agency that sets a high standard for its work and employees and is owned and operated by former law enforcement officers. Desirable applicants will have experience in either law enforcement, corrections, fire and rescue service, emergency medical services, or military service (multiple MOS' applicable). L4 also considers private security professionals with outstanding records of proven service in the sector. Applicants must pass a thorough background investigation and drug screening before employment as well as agree to submit to random drug screenings throughout their employment. Compensation varies by contract, increases with time and successful service and company healthcare plans are available.An Unarmed Security Guard comprises the base element of security services. General duties and responsibilities including providing security services to a variety of clients. These duty posts include Federal government, manufacturing and distribution facilities, schools and colleges, religious institutions, retail sites and any other fixed or temporary location as needed or required.Initial Compensation $13.50 to $14.50/ hr. dependent on contract / post / experience.Essential Duties and Responsibilities1. Protect property and lives2. Monitor entrance/egress of property3. Identify visitors and ask for appropriate documentation.4. Guard against theft and maintain security5. Respond to alarms and calls of distress6. Complete accurate daily & incident reports by recording observations, information occurrences and surveillance activities 7. Prevent passage of prohibited vehicles into restricted areas8. Prevent access to unauthorized persons9. Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use10. Regulate and monitor building systems11. Inspect windows and doors to ensure locks are in place and working12. Complete all required security logs13. Communicate effectively with client management, employees, and visitorsQualifications1. Must have a High School diploma or GED,2. Must be at least 18 years of age,3. Maintain professionalism and ability to wear a uniform neatly and correctly4. Ability to provide excellent customer service verbally and in writing,5. Must have the ability to be alert and appropriately deal with escalated and crisis/emergency situations.6. Ability to multi-task7. Ability to operate a computer and other security devices.8.
