Unarmed Security Guard (1st Shift)

An Unarmed Security Guard. The Security Guard will be responsible to log all visitors and delivery vehicles according to procedure. This position will act as a visible deterrent to crime. Additionally, this position may be expected to assist in various related roles during peak season. This may include assignments at other sites to assist with traffic flow and parking. Position Hours: Monday through Friday - 7 am - 3 pm Primary Functions: Check in deliveries, (i.e., remove truck seal, obtain bill of lading, count # of pallets and quantity of cases, etc.). Check in pickup orders, (i.e., obtain pickup # from the driver, obtain information from the truck, assign dock #, seal the truck prior to exiting facility, etc.). Container deliveries, (i.e., obtain driver paperwork, confirm container seal, assign doc #, etc.). Report safety concerns, security breaches and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing.
