The principles and drills of the CANOO Way have been fundamental to our success, our ability to grow, continuously improve, innovate and are at the core of our day-to-day operations.Job PurposeCanoo Technologies Inc. is seeking a dedicated and professional Unarmed Night Shift Security Officer to join our team at our vehicle manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, with prior experience in military police or law enforcement being a plus. Experience in a corporate security environment is preferred.Responsibilities (80s of the Position)* Monitor and manage entry and exit points to ensure the safety and security of the facility.* Conduct regular patrols and surveillance to detect and deter potential security threats.* Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.* Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and confidentiality agreements.* Utilize Microsoft suite of tools for reporting and communication purposes.* Maintain a professional demeanor and provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.* Multi-task effectively to manage various security responsibilities simultaneously.Required Experience* Proficient in Microsoft suite of tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.* CLEET armed/unarmed license preferred.* Ability to multi-task and handle various responsibilities efficiently.Preferred Experience* Prior military police or law enforcement experience is a plus.* Experience in a corporate security environment is preferred.Travel Requirements* List any travel requirements for the rolePhysical Requirements for Physical PositionsWhile performing the duties of this job, employees may be required to lift up to 25 or more pounds, stand, sit, bend/stoop, or operate office equipment or machinery.
