**Unarmed Security officer**

Human Resources Hines, Illinois Minimum Experience **Mid-level** Unarmed Security Officer

* 21+ years of age

* High School Diploma,GED/Transcripts required

* Unarmed credentials (20-Hour Unarmed Training Certificate & Current PERC required)

* Previous experience as a Security officer is desired

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Capable of following complex instructions

* Strong interpersonal skills

* Willingness to participate in the companys screening process, including drug screen and background investigation

* Knowledge of security operations and procedures

* Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on the organization's needs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

* Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises

* Provide excellent customer service

* Adhere to all company service and operating standards by acting lawfully, ethically, honestly and professionally at all times

* Remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulations

* Immediately respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers

* Protect the companys assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues

* Follow all client site specific duties, as required and outlined in post-orders
