The Facilities and Engineering Department at Amgen Rhode Island is seeking an Undergrad Co-op for a 10-12 week assignment from January - March 2025.Reporting to a Manager of Maintenance, this position is responsible for performing tasks related to Electrical system operation and maintenance activities throughout the ARI site.Specific duties include:Gain experience operating a large-scale production facility by shadowing technicians in various functions within the Facilities & Engineering department to operate, maintain, and sustain all major electrical equipment on site.Taking part in improvement projects related to the electrical systems at ARI through supporting day-to-day operations to ensure a safe, compliant, effective, efficient, and cost-appropriate utility operations at ARI.Assist Amgen Electrical group in troubleshooting and repair of equipment and systems.Ensure activities are accomplished in a safe manner.Assist Amgen Electrical group to ensure work order documentation is completed accurately and completely.Identify opportunities to learn new skills and actively participate in development that will improve overall knowledge.Collaborate with Facilities & Engineering peers within the Amgen network.Here's what it takes to WinWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.
