This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in relevant computer and software systems to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service to prospective undergraduate students.Duties and Responsibilities
- Application Processing and Data Management
- Process incoming undergraduate applications and accompanying materials, including transcripts, test scores, and recommendation letters.
- Enter and maintain accurate undergraduate student data in Technolutions Slate CRM and PeopleSoft, ensuring data integrity for all records, including applicant details, sports, interests, and parent information.
- Copy/scan student records into appropriate software for university use.
- Monitor and manage inquiries, files, and databases to ensure accuracy, completeness, and efficiency.
- Track and process incoming undergraduate application fees and deposits.
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Utilize Slate CRM, PeopleSoft, and Microsoft Excel to create, modify, and maintain queries, reports, and statistical analyses related to the undergraduate admissions funnel and student records.
- Support data analysis requests and maintain comprehensive statistical records for planning purposes.
- Prepare and maintain a variety of statistical and operational reports to assist in enrollment management strategies.
- Event and Mail Management
- Handle, organize, and mail undergraduate admissions decision packets, orientation materials, and other high-volume mailings.
- Assist in event data within Slate CRM, including creating and maintaining event records and providing support for recruitment and retention events such as Open Houses, Admitted Student Days, and New Student Orientations.
- Customer Service and Support
- Provide backup coverage for the admissions reception front desk, answering phones and assisting prospective undergraduate students and families as needed.
- Demonstrate student-centeredness in all interactions.
- Special Projects and Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in recruitment and retention functions for undergraduate students, including evening and weekend events as needed
- Stay updated on admissions processes and software systems to improve efficiency continuously.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the Enrollment Management team.
QualificationsQualifications
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of office clerical experience, ideally in higher education or undergraduate admissions.
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with Technolutions Slate CRM and PeopleSoft or similar campus SIS database systems.
- Familiarity with database querying and reporting.
- Interpersonal and Professional Skills
