This role requires utilization of structured research to evaluate investment opportunities and monitor existing investment positions in the ABS portfolio. You will work closely with other members of the team and will report to the Corporate/Structured Research Team Leader.Collaborate with traders and research staff in developing and implementing a strategy for existing holdings as well as new investmentsReview holdings' performance information from Intex, Bloomberg and Servicer reports and compare to original expectations. Follow up with trustees, servicers, special servicers, rating agencies and bankers to determine causes of performance weaknessMake supported recommendations and develop relative value view across other structured products and asset classes.Perform impairment and other cash flow testing on the portfolioProvide qualitative and quantitative analysis of securities identified for impairments and work with auditors to defend the outcomeParticipate and speak in morning market meetings on meaningful events or trends in asset classParticipate in monthly credit reviews for structured finance asset classes and watch list discussionsBachelor's degree in Finance or related area(s) of study~Experience analyzing ABS risks with a focus on esoteric ABS~ Experience automating surveillance tools and tracking reports~ Strong Excel and Power Point SkillsMBA or CFAAuto Enrollment in Employer-Directed Retirement Account Feature (100% employer-funded!)Generous Paid Time Off – Including 12 Paid Holidays, Volunteer Time Off and Paid Family LeaveDisability, Life, and Long Term Care InsuranceTuition Reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment and Training & Certification SupportWellness support including gym membership reimbursement and Employee Assistance Program resources (work/life support, financial & legal management)
