Essential Job Functions:
* Work closely with management to implement a plan to build a well-balanced and profitable portfolio of Private/Public and Not-for-Profit Financial Lines products (DO/EPL/Fiduc/Crime/Side A DIC)
* Underwrite, rate, and service new and renewal submissions as assigned
* Ensure that underwriting files are of consistent quality and cover all relevant issues
* Actively participate in client meetings as required
* Meet regularly with assigned Financial Lines brokers; Identify and establish new relationships with FL brokers; Success to be measured by submission/quote/bind metrics compared to prior periods
* Develop a working knowledge of other Starr products to facilitate cross sale of those products where applicable
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree
* Detail oriented; Attention to quality/accuracy
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflows efficiently
* Ability to work independently, at times, but also lead a team in a group environment
* Professional demeanor in verbal and written communications internally and externally
* Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Pivot-link, and similar applications
The salary range for this role is between $80,000 - $110,000
