What you'll be doing:
Church Mutual's Internship Program runs the day after Memorial Day through mid August, when students return to school. During the 12-week internship, the Underwriting Intern will learn key underwriting and insurance concepts.
On any given day, you'll:
Interns will spend time in various units throughout the underwriting department, learning the functions of a national underwriting operation. In addition, the intern will work on a variety of special projects that are meaningful and imperative to operational efficiency. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to network with senior leaders and participate in a variety of training and development activities. Interns are valued members of our team and make immediate and lasting contributions to our company's success.
Here's what we expect
* Prefer student pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, risk/loss control, or insurance
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Junior or senior status in Fall of 2025
* Excellent analytical skills
* Strong organizational and project management skills
