  • Review and process mortgage insurance requests
  • Reconcile weekly and monthly reports to validate volume with mortgage insurance partners and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Manage debt monitoring orders and reporting through various vendors
  • Review undisclosed liabilities for refinance and purchase transactions to comply with Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA) loan quality initiative (LQI) in order to mitigate repurchase liability
  • Upload prior approval packages to Veteran's Administration (VA) portal for review.
  • Upload credit underwriting packages and appraisals to Jumbo investors
  • Complete review of denial recommendations from sales teams prior to submission to underwriting
  • Monitor reporting to ensure RESPA requirements are adhered to
  • Other duties as directed.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Two (2) years of residential loan underwriting experience
  • DE or SAR certifications preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesRequired knowledge, skills, and ability. Examples below.
  • Knowledge of Agency and Non-Agency underwriting guidelines and products through proficient use and review of manuals, procedures, memos and training materials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced mortgage environment
