Job Title: Manager, Unemployment Insurance - Human Resources Department

They play a key role in overseeing and coordinating educational programs, providing professional development for educators, and ensuring compliance with state and federal education laws. They are seeking an experienced and qualified Manager of Unemployment Insurance to join their Human Resources Department. This role is crucial in managing and overseeing unemployment insurance operations within their educational system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage unemployment insurance operations, ensuring compliance with state unemployment insurance programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare and manage complex databases, reports, and statistical records related to unemployment insurance.
  • Conduct presentations and develop materials to communicate unemployment insurance policies and procedures to staff and stakeholders.
  • Supervise and lead a team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Collaborate with various departments within the school district, community colleges, and the County Office of Education to streamline unemployment insurance processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of experience working in an unemployment insurance operation within a California school district, community college, or County Office of Education.
  • Two (2) years of experience preparing and managing complex databases, reports, and statistical records.
  • Two (2) years of experience conducting presentations and developing presentation materials.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory or lead position.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
