We define economic justice as creating an equitable workforce system that is responsive to the needs of all residents and ensures viable economic opportunities - especially for those who have been generationally and systemically disadvantaged.POSITION OVERVIEWThis is a customer service position where work duties involve direct support of managing the administrative functions of a YouthWorks unit comprised of approximately 70-100 worksites employing 800-1000 youth. This role requires data entry, file management and organization, and processing youth applications and timesheets. The role also includes conducting worksite visits, addressing issues from youth and employers, and supporting program-related events. Additionally, this position requires effective communication of program information and a commitment to upholding the agency's customer service standards.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure accurate data entry, filing, and document organization in youth and worksite foldersReview and process a minimum of 75 youth applications per dayAnswer, screen, and direct phone calls and emailsManage inventory of office supplies and materialsSchedule and conduct worksite visitsProcess youth participant timesheets and applicationsInvestigate, document, and resolve issues and concerns from youth or worksitesSupport unit with reports, youth placement, or other tasks as assignedAssist with program-related events such as registration sessions, job fairs, community events, etc.Assist youth and worksites with YouthWorks applicationAssist in distribution of YouthWorks materialsCommunicate YouthWorks program information to youth, worksites, and other stakeholdersRepresent the Agency's customer service philosophy, policy, and procedures with the utmost integrityPerform other related work assignments as directed.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESMust have access to reliable transportation for the completion of assigned duties as neededMust be willing to use personal vehicle for the completion of assigned duties on a daily basis or as needed.Ability to accurately review and process a large volume of dataAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentSolid ability to operate Microsoft Office softwareSolid time management skills to effectively manage multiple prioritiesSolid verbal and written communication skillsAnalytical skills, adapting readily to changing priorities, detail-oriented and ability to maintain confidentialitySolid skills to quickly evaluate service delivery issues and identify resolutionMINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEEDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalencyANDEXPERIENCE: At least 2 years of customer service experience.
