In this role, the successful candidate Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager or designee and according to established policies and procedures provides clerical support for assigned nursing unit/units This includes order transcription computer entry medical record maintenance and telephone and electronic communication management Participates in the orientation of new employees. Job Responsibilities:Order Transcription/ Computer Entry. Demonstrates accuracy in transcription of physician orders to the Kardex. Enters date, initial and CRT for each order following computer entry. Demonstrates accurate and timely computer entry of patients admission/ongoingorders, and enters discharge, transfer or expiration data.
