GENERAL DUTIES
- Maintains unit communications by answering the telephone, transferring calls and taking messages.
- Monitors emergency call systems, communicates emergency calls to appropriate personnel.
- Receives and directs visitors, families and residents.
- Communicates with resident families regarding non-medical matters.
- Communicates changes in residents' room status or rate to Business Office.
- Arranges for appointments and transportation and accompanies transports for residents as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- CNA/CMA certification required.
- High school diploma, or above.
- Typing, computer and clerical skills.
- Experience and training in medical records.
