Job DescriptionUnder the supervision of nursing personnel, assists in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the activities occurring in the nursing station by performing clerical and receptionist duties and maintaining the physical environment of the area in accordance with physicians' orders in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Pender Community Hospital.Hours: Minimum 24 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 6:00am-6:30pm, rotating weekendsExperience and SkillsEducation, Experience:High school diploma or equivalentExcellent customer service skills required.Effective knowledge and familiarity with word processing, computer navigation, and e-mailUnit secretary experience preferredCertificates, Licensure, Registrations:Basic Life Support (BLS)GENERAL REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
