Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and creative Junior Unity Developer to join our development team. As a Junior Unity Developer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of Unity-based applications and games. You will work closely with experienced developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects. Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of Unity-based applications, games, and interactive experiences.
  • Collaborate with the development team to create innovative and engaging gameplay mechanics, user interfaces, and visual effects.
  • Help implement and integrate 3D assets, animations, and audio resources into Unity projects.
  • Collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to optimize performance and improve overall project quality.
  • Assist in debugging and troubleshooting technical issues to ensure smooth functionality across different platforms.
  • Stay updated with the latest Unity features, tools, and industry trends, and actively contribute to the team's knowledge sharing initiatives.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the improvement of development processes, workflows, and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Solid understanding of Unity development principles, including scene management, asset integration, and scripting (C# or UnityScript).
  • Experience with game mechanics, physics systems, and animation within Unity.
  • Familiarity with 3D asset creation and optimization techniques.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Passion for gaming and interactive experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with other game engines or frameworks (e.g., Unreal Engine).
  • Experience working within modeling/simulation for DoD.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
