Can easily maneuver between MSR, new accounts, and basic lending interviewing functions. Effectively communicates information about credit union products, services, policies, and procedures to members. Manages lobby traffic of the branch. Responsible for new account relationships, branch membership, loan referrals, and services per member objectives for the branch.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides solutions and guidance to enhance members' financial well-being based on member needs and financial goals.
- Establishes lasting relationships with new and existing members.
- Recommends additional services that help members become more financially secure and economically responsible. These services may include deposit accounts, lending opportunities, investment services, insurance products, and account access options.
- Creates exceptional experiences for new member relationships through consultative listening, advising and interactions tailored to each individual circumstance.
- Follows protocol for new member follow up to ensure 100% member satisfaction.
- Able to successfully perform several different positions within the branch, including MSR, new accounts, and basic lendinginterviewing functions. Must be exceptional at having meaningful conversations that lead to a better understanding of members' needs.
- Must be able to coach a member to help improve their financial well-being, regardless of the member's situation.
- Utilizes all tools and training resources to focus efforts on deepening member relationships. This can be measured through several metrics, including services per member, member profitability, new account penetration, and average balances per member, etc.
- Assists members in resolving all service questions and concerns.
- Successfully performs all MSR duties, staying current on all procedural updates.
- Serves as the custodian on all negotiable instruments in the branch.
- Follows all opening/closing procedures and security guidelines as determined by the branch management team.
To be considered for this position, you must have the following education and experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years:
- Teller line experience
- Platform experience
- Referral sales experience
- Account maintenance/servicing experience
