Job Description:

The role is dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer service experience, ensuring satisfaction at every touchpoint while positively impacting the Banks reputation and bottom line. This position is crucial in fostering customer engagement and contributing to the overall success of the Branch and the Bank.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to customers, partners, and prospects, tailoring solutions to meet their needs.
  • Process all paying and receiving transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash vault activities.
  • Comply with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the branchs business development plan and growth objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Greet and engage customers as they enter the branch, offering a seamless customer service experience.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services, such as deposits, loans, and cash management.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via various channels (in-person, phone, mail, email), acting as the liaison with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Onboard customers and open new accounts, ensuring all documentation is completed in accordance with policy and regulatory standards.
  • Execute monetary and negotiable instrument transactions using both traditional and alternative channels (e.g., smart ATMs, TCRs, teller stations).
  • Process wire transfers and promote alternative self-service options to enhance customer experiences.
  • Coordinate periodic customer follow-up calls and meetings to provide additional value-added services.
  • Collaborate with other departments to establish partnerships and obtain referrals.
  • Complete all required training in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all internal policies and regulatory requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Ancillary Functions

    • Ensure compliance with Bank policies and state and federal regulations.
    • Provide cross-functional support where needed within the Bank.
    • Perform supportive tasks as necessary, which may be adjusted based on individual circumstances.

    Mandatory Training Curricula

    All staff must complete training related to regulatory compliance and specific job functions. Career enhancement courses are available; refer to the course catalog for details.

    Skills

    • Proficient communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
    • Strong reading, writing, grammar, and mathematical skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • General knowledge of retail banking procedures and regulations.
    • Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC skills.
    • Self-motivated with a strong sales aptitude.
    • Comfortable using technology, including smartphones and online banking platforms.

    Physical Demands/Working Conditions

    • Ability to travel to multiple branch locations as needed.
    • Typical office environment; ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
    • May require standing for extended periods.
    • Flexible availability, including weekends, based on business needs.

    Education/Training

    • High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on business-related courses.

    Experience

    • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience preferred.
