The primary role of this position is to engage with studentsand the community, fostering a positive and energetic atmosphere while promoting school spirit.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform as Eko at campus functions (dancing, interacting with students. etc.)
- ex: IGNITE, H.U.B Fair, athletic games, etc.
- Enthusiastic, outgoing, and able to maintain a high level of energy and excitement.
- Creativity and improvisational skills to engage with the crowd without speaking.
- Punctuality and reliability in Eko appearance schedules and commitments.
- Uphold La Sierra's values and maintain a respectful and appropriate behavior while in mascot costume.
- Must maintain a secret identity throughout the school year.
Required Skills: Must be a current student.Physical/Mental Demands: Office environment can be stressful at times due to the number and diversity of student needs during large campus events especially. Physical labor is required at certain times; please speak to the Director if you have any concerns regarding this.
