The Police Sergeant exercises supervision, assigns work to and reviews performance of assigned law enforcement personnel. Enforces state laws as well as rules and regulations of the University; and performs related patrol work and duties as assigned.Women and underrepresented minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.Minimum Qualifications (Required): Must be a U.S. Citizen, 25 years of age or olderMust have successfully completed a full-time MPTC Academy or equivalentMust have Class A LTC Firearms License or the ability to obtain oneMust have 5 years of experience as a sworn law enforcement OfficerMust have a valid driver's licenseMust have the ability to work effectively with diverse groupsMust have a good understanding of the Clery Act, FERPA, and Title IXMust effectively represent the thinking of the Command Staff and the Senior Administration of the University Preferred Qualifications: Prior Police supervisory experience.
