Unix Linux System Administrator Active TS/SCI clearance w/CI Poly
: Job Details :

ONSITE UNIX or Linux System Security Administrators in Silicon Valley, CA (up to 18 mos project)

***MUST have an active TS/SCI clearance w/CI Poly (or higher clearance)***

REQUIREMENTS:

• TS/SCI Security Clearance with CI Polygraph Required
• US Citizenship required at this facility
• Ability to lift 30 pounds
• Must possess a CISSP, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8572 qualified certificate (or obtain within the first 60 days of employment)
• 4+ years experience with UNIX or Linux (RHEL) operating systems
• Install operating system security patchesand firmware updates
• Create/manage security groups, access management, or IAM
• Performing routine server/workstation patching/packaging per guidelines
• Coordinate hardware repair activities
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/softwareproblems/issues
• Proficiency in scripting (bash/shell, Ansible, or Python, etc.)
• Successfully install/tune/optimization of UNIX or Linux server and associated hardware
• Successfully install/configure software applications and programs
• Experience administering virtual machines with VMWare ESXi

HIGHLY PREFERRED (but NOT required):

• Any Linux certs: RHCE, RHCSA, RHCVA, LPI, etc.
• Familiar with Security Linux (SELinux) or CyberSecurity
• Experience with vulnerability remediation and security management (system hardening, log management, configuration management [i.e., Nessus, ACAS, SCAP, Trellix, Splunk, Nagios, HBSS])
• Create/edit Standard Operating Instructions (SOI) documentation
• Managing servers in a disconnected environment
