Position: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Portsmouth, WA

Pay: $17.37 to $19.50/hour (depending on experience)

Experience:

• 4 to 6 years of experience in mechanical and HVAC trades
• Supervisory experience preferred

Education:

• High school or GED or vocational/technical education in building trades
• Virginia Gas Fitter License preferred

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Description:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems
• Supervise maintenance staff and manage work schedules
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Position Requirements:

• Knowledge of HVAC systems and building repairs
• Proficient in using maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stoop, kneel, bend and climb ladders
• Operate motorized vehicles and maintenance equipment
