Job DescriptionPosition: Upholsterer Department: Upholstery Primary Responsibilities: (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.) Replace fabric and fabric like materials on soft furniture Replace/mend window shades Replace/install/repair carpet floor covering Replace/install window coverings Upholstering of walls Secondary Responsibilities: General Fabric Installation and repair Setting up production set-up Normal Working Hours: (Shift, days) 8:00am-4:30pm. Some weekend, overtime, and holiday work requiredIn order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria in addition to the Ten Essential Attributes for All Employees.Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.) Previous upholstery and carpet laying experience required Educational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study) High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents) Must be able to understand and follow directions both written and orally.
