What You Will Do

* You will utilize Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs to program and troubleshoot automated robotic and vision systems

* You will work closely with West and South APU's and their engineers to define, install and debug vision, degating, and material handling systems.

* You will be paramount in the development of standards for process monitoring and the procurement of the equipment required to support the new standards.

* You will validate the testing concepts during development phases before industrialization

* You will create process standards that permit duplication of testing/monitoring systems at different Valeo sites

* Generate documentation / schematics for new equipment installs.

What You Should Have

* You have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineer (or other relevant Engineering discipline)

* You have at least 4 years of experience with PLC programming (preferably using Siemens) of robotic equipment

* You preferably have experience programming PLCs in a high-speed automotive environment

* You preferably have experience using Variable Voltage/Variable Frequency Drives

* Ability to work on the manufacturing floor solving problems, supporting manufacturing
