**Ready to handle some heavy-duty science and help power the future?**As a **Uranium Processing Plant Operator** , you'll be at the heart of Wyoming's uranium recovery process, turning loaded resins into the final uranium product. From operating big machinery to ensuring smooth resin transfers, you'll be part of a highly trained team with responsibilities that keep the plant humming. If you enjoy hands-on work, love solving problems in real-time, and can handle shiftwork like a pro, this role could be the perfect fit!**Your day-to-day mission:**+ **Resin Master** - Handle uranium-loaded resin transfers, stripping (eluting) uranium from the resin, and guiding it through the precipitation, drying (calcining), and final packaging stages.+ **Sample Collector Extraordinaire** - Gather samples from various stages of the process and perform basic lab analysis (don't worry, we'll provide all the training).+ **Process Monitoring Hero** - Keep an eye on plant metrics using the control computer and jump into action when alarms sound.+ **Record Keeper** - Document every step and action to ensure accuracy and keep the plant running smoothly.+ **Road Warrior** - You may occasionally drive truckloads of ion exchange resin between our two key sites**Job Perks:**+ **Shift Schedule with Balance** - Enjoy 12-hour shifts, working 4 days on, 4 days off.
