I'm a single mom to a special needs boy. I an in the middle of a traumatic divorce and just got a full time job for the first time in about a decade and I'm working (4) 10 hour shifts.I need a sitter that can help wake my son up, make him an easy breakfast (4 simple to make choices, no cooking involved), give him his medication and vitamins, pack his school lunch, and put him on the bus in the mornings. I am unfortunately very limited in what I can pay but my kiddo needs extra TLC. I need a trauma informed caregiver who can handle developmental delays (emotional, behavioral, body awareness) and tantrums/meltdowns over benign things like a stuffed animal.Must have reliable transportation (yes, we are just 5 minutes from the bus stop)Must have excellent communicationMust use gentle authorityMust be, or become, trauma informedMust be okay with pets (1 dog, 1 cat)Must be responsible and reliableMust be comfortable giving a medication and vitamin.We do not need bathing or showering, but you must be willing to help with and supervise picking out clothing and appropriate footwear/outerwear, teeth brushing/flossing, and hairbrushing.We follow the school calendar, so no work on days off from school. If there is a school delay, please be willing to stay until the bus arrives in winter weather.
