Working in an urgent care environment is as exhilarating as running a million miles an hour with sand between your paws. PetMedic Urgent Care Vet Clinic is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Clinical Supervisor to our team.

Clinical Supervisor

PetMedic in Portland, ME

* Up to $2500 incentive bonus*

WHAT YOU'LL DO

* Lead staff with positive attitude

* Clinical and Administrative duties

* Handle client complaints, escalate to Medical Director or Practice Manager if needed

* Collaborate with Medical Director

* Supervisor of all support staff (technicians, assistants, client service representatives)

* Approving PTO/sick time/holiday schedule for DVMS and support staff with Medical Director

* Train new technicians and assistants with Lead tech

REQUIREMENTS

* Licensed technician preferred

* Minimum 5 years' experience in veterinary medicine

* Experience with supervising and training clinical staff

* Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written

* Leadership abilities - collaborative, yet able to work independently

* Problem-solving and critical thinking skills

* Ability to handle complex and/or emotional situations

* Strong organizational skills, capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing

* Must be a people person who is kind and caring to all staff and clients
