- Previous Home Health Aide/CNA Experience required, Training available.
The Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence. Essential Functions:
- Personal Care with ADLs and IADLs
- Provide assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, back care, shampoo, oral hygiene, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheel chair), change of position, with toileting.
- Companion/Sitter/Household Management
- Provide companionship and respite services for family
- Stand-by assist with transfers for fall risk clients
- Client is a woman in late 80s and the family needs immediate assistance for 5 hours daily/3days a week.
- Occasional Transportation to run errands within 5 mile radius once a week.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
- High school graduate or G.E.D certificate
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job
- Clean background with no history.
