Position Overview The Quality Engineer will work with the Small Business Team to lead and improve internal quality, focusing on fabrications and machining. The role involves supporting internal quality, resolving internal scrap and rework issues, and backfilling existing positions. The engineer will contribute to the team by analyzing scrap and rework data, leading internal 8D problem resolution, and assisting with supplier quality non-conformance containment.
Job Responsibilities - Analyze scrap and rework data.
- Lead internal 8D problem resolution.
- Assist with containment of supplier quality non conformances.
- Collaborate with the Section Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, and Team Lead.
- Interact with assembly technicians on the shop floor.
Candidate Requirements Education & Experience Required - Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience.
Technical Skills Required - Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
