We are hoping to find a reliable and experienced babysitter to look after our energetic toddler so that my husband and I can go to dinner or see a movie occasionally - probably twice a month at least. The right candidate will provide attentive care, and engage her in outdoor play or indoor activities while ensuring her well-being. Your responsibilities will include engaging or daughter in age-appropriate activities, preparing light meals, and maintaining a tidy play area. Please note that we do have a small dog, and you will need to let him outside every 2-3 hours for bathroom breaks, and feed him if we are out during his dinner time (7:30 PM).We do believe in gentle parenting, but we are not permissive. We set boundaries, and enforce them. We also allow our daughter to feel her feelings, but try to redirect her when she lashes out - for example, if she starts kicking, we tell her that we understand she is frustrated, but her options are to take deep breaths, or stomp. Pay can be negotiated, but we are offering at least $13/hour. Any dishes you clean or areas you tidy, outside of the play area, will also earn you extra money.
