Position Title: Medical Assembler

Department: Manufacturing

Location: El Paso , Texas

Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time

Job Summary:

The Medical Assembler is responsible for assembling medical devices and equipment with precision and care, ensuring all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements

This role involves working with small components, utilizing hand tools, and following detailed work instructions and diagrams.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly:

Assemble medical devices and components according to detailed specifications, blueprints, and diagrams.

Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform assembly tasks.

Perform soldering, gluing, and other bonding techniques as required.

Quality Control:

Inspect and test assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Identify and report any defects or non-conformities in materials or finished products.

Maintain accurate records of inspection and test results.

Documentation:

Complete and maintain accurate production and quality documentation.

Record assembly operations, materials used, and production quantities.

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Maintenance and Safety:

Clean and maintain work area and equipment to ensure a safe and organized workspace.

Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet production goals.

Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide feedback on process improvements and efficiency enhancements.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in medical device assembly or a similar role preferred.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.

Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Commitment to quality and safety standards.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

Ability to lift and carry materials up to [weight limit, e.g., 40 (lbs.)

Work Environment:

Cleanroom environment with strict hygiene and contamination control procedures.

Must wear PPE- Lab coat, gloves, hair, face net and safety glasses

May require the use of specialized cleanroom attire.

Fast-paced manufacturing setting.
