Urgently Hiring Medical Assistant's!

Job Description

+ Greet and escorting patients to their rooms

+ Take and record patient vital signs

+ Utalizing the EMR system for documentation

+ Ensuring rooms are clean and stocked at all times

+ Clean instruments, autoclave, and set up rooms for procedures

+ Conduct patient intake, including collecting medical history and recording symptoms

+ Communicate affectively with patients and staff members

Schedule:

+ Monday - Friday 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm

+ Occasional rotating Saturday (1 or 2 a month)

Hard Skills

+ Completed MA program

+ Externship experience

+ Knowledge of medical terminology

+ Proficient typing skills

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position.

Locations available include:

+ Brentwood

+ Coram

+ Riverhead

+ Shirley

+ Southampton

Work Environment

Candidates must be comfortable working in a high-volume patient, fast-paced environment. This is a community health center.

Pay is $19 dollars an hour.
