University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) UTMB was established in 1891 as the first academic health center in Texas and is a component of the University of Texas System. Today UTMB includes four schools (medicine, nursing, health professions and graduate biomedical sciences), a network of hospitals and clinics that provide a full range of primary and specialized medical care, and numerous research facilities. The Medical School enrolls 230 students per class and 1 in 6 Texas physicians have trained at UTMB. UTMB also provides medical services through our Community Based Clinics (CBC's) which are located along the I-45 corridor, and south of Houston.
UTMB Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Urogynecology and Pelvic Health is seeking a Board Certified, Urogynecologist to join our growing faculty department at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This position will collaborate with both our academic and practice-based faculty providers, as a full-time academic physician providing patient care services in outpatient and inpatient settings. This faculty position will work with the Department Chair, Director of Urogynecology, and Urogynecology nursing staff to meet the needs of the Female Pelvic Health issues in our community.
