A healthcare network in Connecticut is currently seeking a new, licensed Urologist to join their growing team as their new Urologist.About the Opportunity:
- Start date: May 2025
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm
- Call: Light weekday call, 1:4 weekends
- Patient Volume: 18 to 25 per day
Responsibilities:The Urologist will:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' medical histories, symptoms, and physical examinations to diagnose urological conditions
- Ordering, performing, and interpreting various diagnostic tests such as urinalysis, blood tests, imaging studies (e.g., ultrasound, CT scans, MRIs), cystoscopies, and biopsies
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic findings
- Conducting a variety of surgical procedures to treat urological conditions
- Providing ongoing care and monitoring for chronic urological conditions such as urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and chronic kidney disease
- Educating patients and their families about urological conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Keeping accurate and detailed medical records, including patient histories, test results, treatment plans, and follow-up notes
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut
- Board Eligible / Certified
- Active DEA registration
- BLS certiication
