The CN identifies and implements nursing interventions and evaluates results for a wide variety of patient populations, directs and acts as resource to other members of the nursing team as assigned and promotes compliance and support for policies. Telephone triage will include patient and family education regarding a variety of bladder, kidney, prostate, and other urinary tract disorders. Collaboration with providers, staff, family members and patients are required to ensure medications, lifestyle changes, and ancillary services are appropriate. The patient population is diverse with multiple comorbidities therefore the nurse must be a strong resource for our patients and staff.This position will focus on patient centered care including assessing, documenting, planning, implementing, teaching, developing, and evaluating a comprehensive nursing care plan for areas of urologic disease management.
