Our client, a leading food and beverage company, is seeking a Lab Technician Specialist 1 to join their team. As a Lab Technician Specialist 1, you will be part of the Quality and Safety team supporting the Technologists. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Title: Lab Technician Specialist 1

Location: Plainsboro, New Jersey

Pay Range: $33 per hour

What's the Job?

• Assist technologists in the preparation of beverages and conduct basic laboratory tests
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of experiments, results, and observations
• Support technologists with data collection and processing for ongoing projects
• Ensure laboratory safety protocols are followed, including proper handling and disposal of flavors and food samples
• Assist in maintaining inventory of lab supplies
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of lab equipment and workspaces

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in food science or science preferred
• Lab experience
• Ability to work morning shift with some flexibility in start time
• On site and not remote
• Strong attention to detail
