This position follows a hybrid working model, requiring the candidate to be onsite 50% of the time.
Position Summary:
• Strategic partner that is solutions oriented and focused on ensuring medical accuracy, robust scientific evidence, and compliance with US laws and regulations.
Position Responsibilities:
• Maintains therapeutic area and product knowledge through ongoing assessment of relevant published literature, treatment guidelines, internal resources, and data.
• Contributes strong medical advice for promotional review responsible for providing input and advice to conduct the review of promotional materials for scientific/medical validity.
• Critically review and provide solutions to complex promotional strategies and tactics to ensure balance of the messages, medical accuracy, and appropriateness of the content of the materials/activities in accordance with relevant guidance
• Proactively align and build strong relationships with commercial and other advisors/stakeholders on issues or concerns in promotional review.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership within the medical promotional review community of practice, to help drive best practices aligned with strategic imperatives.
• Determine acceptability of data/references used to support promotional claims and provide strong guidance as well as effective negotiation leading to resolution for pieces.
• Ensures awareness of current trends within the industry
• Completes all assigned SOPs and training within designated timeframe and adheres to job-specific SOPs and work instructions.
• Conducts business in accordance with BMS Values
Degree Requirements:
• PharmD, MD, PhD preferred with minimum of 2 years experience in clinical practice or the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience Requirements:
• Prior promotional review experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Prior experience in the cardiovascular therapeutic area preferred.
Key Competency Requirements:
• Ability to manage various projects, solve problems, deliver on commitments, and work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong scientific/medical written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must be a strong team player and be willing to work in an environment where individual initiative and accountability to the team are required.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with demonstrated success in driving optimal business results in a complex matrix organization required.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
• Office environment with sitting for periods of time.
