We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Project Manager to be located at our Boston, MA office to provide World Class, professional project sales execution. You will be responsible for managing the sales project team during the sales phase, for the negotiation of Turbine Supply Agreements and opportunities of the new offshore wind projects that Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy will have.

  • Relocation may be offered for this role should it be necessary.
  • Travelling required up to 50%.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall management for the US sales project during the sales phase.
  • Overall management for timely, competitive and compliant submission of tenders to customers.
  • Overall management for negotiation and conclusion of customer contracts.
  • Management for project planning, reporting and follow up.
  • Management for adherence to Siemens Gamesa's sales processes including management approval.
  • Motivating, assisting and developing a high performing sales project team.
  • Setting clear targets for team members, tracking progress and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Facilitating interdisciplinary association.
  • Understanding US customer requirements and developing bid/negotiation strategies, ensuring that customer requirements are reflected in both costing and planning.
  • Ensuring risks are fully assessed and approved by management.
  • Ensuring successful handover to Project Management upon contract signature.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Five or more years of experience in customer facing role ideally in renewable energy.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Driving is an essential function of the job and applicants must have a valid driver's license at the time of application with an acceptable driving record. Employees must maintain a valid license and acceptable driving record and may be subject to periodic DMV checks of their license.
  • Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.
