Our client is a renowned manufacturer of firearms with 65+ years of success in the industry. They are known for delivering quality and innovation. Currently, they are in search of a passionate US Operations Manager to join their team ASAP!Salary:$120-200k base salary (flexible/based on experience) + bonus + full comprehensive benefitsJob Summary:The US Operations Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of operations within the United States. This includes overseeing supply chain management, production, distribution, regulatory compliance, finance (mainly admin, supported by the CFO) and customer service. The role will require close collaboration with sales to ensure operational efficiency, profitability, and adherence to company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, preferably within the manufacturing or firearms industry.Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the US division, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows. Sales, costs, Inventory, Production, collections, suppliers should be their KPI's to follow up.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and distribution partners to ensure timely delivery and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with all US federal, state, and local regulations related to firearms manufacturing, distribution, and sales.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support market expansion and growth initiatives in the US market.
  • Monitor operational performance through KPIs and metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • The individual in this role will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of a comprehensive system to measure and enhance manufacturing efficiency within a machine shop and assembly operation, creating relevant performance indicators to evaluate both CNC machining processes and assembly efficiency. This includes establishing benchmarks for optimal performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to optimize operational costs.
  • Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Ensure customer service excellence by addressing operational issues and enhancing customer experiences.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, with experience in the firearms, manufacturing, or related industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US regulations and compliance regarding firearms manufacturing and distribution.
  • Knowledge of U.S. importation and exportation related to firearms preferred.
  • Knowledge of FET quarterly filings related to firearms preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex supply chains and work with vendors and distributors.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and operational reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in operations management software and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Plus for person also fluent in Spanish.
