Location: Wilson,NC, USA
The US Payroll Admininstrator Associate is primarily responsible for processing weekly and monthly payroll for our US employees and carrying out all associated tasks.
* Process weekly and monthly payrolls for roughly 1,500 employees across multiple states:
* Review timecards for completeness and approvals
* Perform routine pre-payroll and post-payroll audits to ensure accurate payments
* Submit payroll
* Complete SOX controls and requests related to payroll activities
* Run off-cycle payrolls, if required
* Review and reconcile all quarterly and yearly tax filings prepared by the payroll processing company.
* Partner with Accounting on general ledger, reconciliation, banking related topics, reporting and SOX controls.
* Deliver payroll reports, as requested.
* Execute tax registration for new states.
* Ensure timely and appropriate routing of garnishment requests to third party.
* Provide excellent customer service to employees.
* Execute quarterly and year-end reporting and activities.
* Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
* Minimum of 3 years of Payroll experience, preferably processing high volume payrolls for both hourly and salaried employees across multiple states.
* Solid understanding of payroll processes; FLSA; earnings, deductions, and taxes setup; and IRS rules and regulations.
* Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Oracle preferred.
* Strong attention to organization, detail and accuracy.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving and technical skills.
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work, analyze, and manage payroll tasks independently under strict deadlines.
* Highly dependable.
* Proficient in MS Excel. Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, and Teams.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with extreme professionalism and discretion.
