Your Mission
- Operations will include the loading and unloading of material in/out of plastic wrap machines, material weighing, tagging and stacking material in pallets, and loading material to trucks for shipment
- Store materials and track inventory
- Receive, identify and process items for delivery to various departments
- Completion of shipping invoices, bill of lading, and all other required paper work
- Operations will require the use of hand and power material handling equipment such as fork lift, pallet jack scales, hydraulic chain hoist, battery charger, and saws
- Materials used during the operation of duties will include packaging materials, plastic film rolls, inks, and resins
- Operations include the daily scheduling of all outbound loads from the facility
- Contract negotiations to include rate, class, tariff, and terms
- Facilitate all necessary claims with vendors over damaged freight, inadequate service and billing issues
- Match up inbound loads with outbound loads
- Responsible for the proper performance of assignments and the prudent handling of product, tools, and equipment
Your Profile
- High school education or equivalent
- Experience in forklift operation
- Experience in inventory adn shipping/receiving
- Experience in freight traffice management
- Knowledge of basic computer operations and spreadsheets
- Attention to detail, safety, and quality
- Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
