Our Creative team is looking for an experienced UX Designer with demonstrated interest/experience with AI or Chatbot platforms to work on a project for a Fortune 500 brand. You will be working closely with our Associate Creative Director to conduct discovery and research and ultimately move into strategy, user flows, and wireframes. This role is about solving complex problems through the design of intuitive interfaces and transformative digital experiences. The ideal candidate understands what makes a great user experience produces UX strategy and designs that when integrated with the product management team's work become the functional specification which aligns stakeholders and is the blueprint to guide developers.
NOTE: This role is part-time contract work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery sessions with project stakeholders on the client side and consolidate findings and recommendations.
- Create and iterate on UX project deliverables including creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, personas, user flows, low, and high fidelity prototypes and mockups to convey design concepts
- Partner with ACD, engineering and product management to define and communicate short and long-term design strategies
- Champion principles of usability and user-centered design
- Assist in planning and gathering UX research as needed
- Work closely with creative and development teams to ensure flawless design and execution
- Create interactive prototypes using Figma
- Gathers and incorporates feedback from end users, project stakeholders, and internal teams
- Present design concepts and explains rationale to team members and stakeholders
- Receive and analyze feedback to inform appropriate design iterations
- Effectively manage pivoting workloads and meet established deadlines
Requirements
- Must have 4+ years of professional UX experience
- Must have 2+ years of design research experience
- Proven experience designing interfaces and creating user flows, low- and high-fidelity wireframes, and interactive mockups
- Demonstrated ability to execute from start to finish projects with moderate senior supervision
- Ability to work with UI designers, content strategists, art directors, and copywriters collaboratively
- A strong portfolio demonstrating measurably effective designs and problem solving
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Expert in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- A keen understanding of user experience design principles for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Demonstrate initiative by identifying issues for managers and team members
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, be process oriented, and be able to multitask
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and analytical skills in broad areas relating to user experience, technology and design
- Experience working in an agency environment
- Bonus: Has experience working with AI or Chatbot platforms and/or demonstrated interest in these technologies.
